Our History
Master Remodelers Inc./Regis McQuaide & Company formerly known only as Regis McQuaide & Company, was originally formed in 1988 to serve a growing niche in the Pittsburgh marketplace that required highly skilled workmanship, project planning, and product knowledge that would meet and exceed the expectations of savvy, quality-minded homeowners.

In the early 1990's, Regis McQuaide & Company, added the ability to provide the design work as well as create the construction plans. This allowed the customers' ideas to be directly absorbed by Regis McQuaide, the designer and construction manager, and then additionally transferred into construction plans that were feasible for building purposes. In other words, plans that were not just flash over substance. In 2001, the company invested in a CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) system to better our abilities to create plans quickly as well as execute changes proficiently.

In 1999, the company added a painting division to allow for a more professional finish to our fine carpentry work. Our painters are the best in the city, with a real attention to the details of preparing a surface before a paint brush or stain is even present on the job site. Our painters are also talented in faux painting work.

The company incorporated in 2002 to become Master Remodelers Inc./Regis McQuaide & Company.

In 2003, our desire to raise the bar on customer satisfaction as well as strengthening our overall design abilities and product selection, resulted in our adding an interior design position to our staff. Additionally, we are mixing old world techniques with modern advancements in building sciences with the creation of a masonry division.

These milestones and many other steps along the way have laid the foundation for future growth. We believe that organization and communication are the keys to fostering an environment of teamwork and proven results. And, we are proud of the loyalty, dedication and talent of our long standing employees that have been the cornerstone of our growth and success.

The geographic areas for our projects are primarily Mt. Lebanon, Upper St. Clair, Peters Township, Whitehall, Bethel Park, Fox Chapel and Squirrel Hill, but are not limited to those boundaries.

About Regis
Regis G. McQuaide Jr., CGR, and founder, is a 1980 graduate of Michigan State University and an esteemed member of the 1978 Big Ten Football Conference Championship. After leaving his professional football career with the Philadelphia Eagles behind, Regis went on to gain valuable sales and management skills while employed by Pepsi Cola and Tonka Corporations. Having grown up in a family of remodelers, plumbers and craftsmen, Regis' hobbies revolved around design and remodeling.

Regis is an esteemed member of the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Builders Association. Regis is also an avid outdoorsman with interests in hunting, fishing and field sports.

About Junko
Junko Higashibeppu , CGR, is a 1985 graduate of the University of Tokai in Tokyo, Japan with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture. Junko spent several years working in the computer software industry in Tokyo before moving to the United States. Junko began her career in the residential design and build industry in 1991, learning every aspect of running a mid-size design and build firm and acquiring her CKD (Certified Kitchen Design) credentials. She joined Master Remodelers Inc in 2003, adding the CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) designation to her resume in 2006.

Junko shares her love of design and fine building with her husband whom is a nationally recognized furniture craftsman.
