It’s been a great beginning to a milestone year for Master Remodelers—our 25th Anniversary! My how time flies. I still remember 1988 when we launched with a toolbox and a truck, a wing and a prayer. This year we’re looking back at our 25 years and doing a little reminiscing.

While it was great to start 2013 and launch our 25th anniversary year with two new, whole house renovations, we got something extra special in the mail this week. It’s an unsolicited testimonial letter for a job we just finished—an entire basement remodel including for energy efficiency.
Here’s a preview: “In considering all of the money we have spent on home improvements, it was definitely the best money we ever spent.” We cherish these kinds of customer kudos, as much as our 22 awards. Continue reading
Completing the full renovation of our own home after a 2011 fire—and winning an award for it in December—is perhaps our most rewarding achievement of 2012.
There were several other “design & build” projects we are proud of, including an aging-in-place renovation (with a new addition) for two seniors, and an outdoor living space with a scenic countryside view. Plus, here are our 2012 Top 10 remodeling blog posts. BTW, we’re celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2013!
At the Fairmont Hotel we were honored by the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh, bringing our total awards to 22.
Located in Mt. Lebanon, our 2012 winning entry was voted by our peers “Best Multi-room Renovation—$300,000-750,000.”
Congratulations again to our designers and craftsmen for another year of award-winning remodeling work.
Again, this year we’re entering the Builders Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh’s 2012 competition for “Housing Excellence Awards.” In 2010 we were thrilled to win four remodeling awards! Last year we won two more awards.
